The way he was praising Muther, you'd have thought Muther(misspelled on purpose) was the second coming of Christ. It made me ill. Muther called our soldiers the enemy and Weldon was talking him up. That makes Weldon just like Muther in my book.

Linder is from Georgia. Good, solid conservative. He's not an anti-war, anti-troops freakazoid. Someone mentioned that the one Republican might have been designated by the party because of some House rule about bringing the resolution up for a vote again, but I don't understand how that works.

Normally, they can be very boring. You should see the ones in England, the are much better. Nothing can beat the ones in Taiwan and the Philippines. They often turn into fistfights and riots.

He is my Congressman. He is likely confused. He is not too good with these complicated things...

Linder voted Yes.
Linder deserves zero support for any bill or issue he tries to advance. Zero.

Which Republican voted Yea? Probably Ron Paul, who is usually a hero here on FR for his strict Constitutional interpretations. He has been consistent all along in opposing the war, and while I disagree with him on this, I do have respect for his position-- it has better foundations than just the bumper-sticker "but war is BAD!" reasoning of the left.

To: rushfreedom
I checked the DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND I do not see them even discussing this. Am I wrong? Nope. Their heads all exploded about 10 minutes ago.

That is a despicable quote.
Would Mertha have the stones to vote against this after all the grandstanding?
