Well well well. Ol' Bug-Eyes nephew and ties of coerced contracts to Murtha??
Thought that only happened with Cheney and Halliburton.
Sounds like a Hillary quote during the Rose shredding festival.

They're all out having fine ceeegars and port.
I'm sure Hastert is having some fun yanking their chains.
Better happen soon...I'm an hour behind my Friday night schedule already...1 hour of HALO, then "Ghost Whisperererer"...
Murtha must be applying for an internship under Charlie Rangle.
I think mine is Murphy. Isn't he yours, too?
Are we pushing the Thanksgiving Day recess by this action?
Oh boy, do I hear you. I have a sister in-law just like your brother in-law and an aunt who if she were 30 years younger would have renamed herself something like, "Ravenflower" and be sitting in a tree somewhere protecting it from the evil logging companies.
Well they had plans for the soldiers to come home for Thanksgiving, but the Unit could not pay for 40 soldiers out of unit funds which left $ 800 to $1000 dollars total for the soldiers to come home to their families.
The local radio station put out a call for donations to be delivered to the local VFW tomorrow.
Within seconds of the call the radio station got a call from someone whom donated the total amount to bring these soldiers home to their families for Thanksgiving.
The local radio guy told the man that he was incredibly generous to fund the soldiers like this and the guy said no, he wasnt It costs $20 dollars a soldier to send these boys home and thats nothing compared to what their sacrificing for their country.
I am both speechless and humbled by the generosity of the American people.
Thank you one and all from a former soldier and a special thank you to the man from Lincoln NE.
Once the MSM has one of its common templates for a story, it won't deviate from the template for any reason. Facts? They can't be bothered with facts.
The length of this recess is giving me the heebie-jeebies.....the Dems MUST be delaying.....which means the Pubbies may be a little squishy....oh, Lawd, let it not be so!

Yes,...a HUGH VICTORY!
i guess what I'm getting at is that there is a segment of this nation that actually hates this country.
No matter how much we try to negotiate, work with, or massage, they fundamentally loathe America. (or AmeriKKKa, as they put it)
This used to be just a harmless fringe of wacko's, but today they are becoming more and more the leadership of the Democratic Party.
I simply cannot imagine Harry Turman or JFK hanging out with a random sample of Democrats today.
Hell, even LBJ or Henry Wallace, the "Progressive" quasi-socialist V.P. for FDR would question the priorities of the Democrats in congress today.
It used to be that Liberals and Conservatives were still basically Americans. But today one side of this equation is actually "ashamed" to be called American.
If they really hate this country so much, I'm tempted to just let them leave and start their little utopias in the San Fran Bay area....really, what would be the big loss?
They just have to call all the bars in DC.
I don't think GOPers will cave. You should listen to various statements they are saying.
Senator "Lubner"I love it, so appropriate!
Thanks for the story. That is what makes this country great..... people like that are the norm.
Prayers for the family......
Wrong. Elections turn on things like this. Trust me. I'm a political historian; I've analyzed in some detail most of the elections in U.S. history. It CAN be closer to the actual voting date, but sometimes things said much earlier end up being unshakeable. This will affect, among other things, the Dem primaries and, possibly, result in much more radical/liberal candidates unseating incumbents, meaning we have a much easier time knocking them off. Don't forget in 1994, the "Contract With America" was only a small part of the outrage---a big part was also the House Bank scandal, which had died down by election time, but which the voters remembered.
Thank your son for his service! Semper fidelis! Love you freepers!
