Have you ever watched a movie trailer that's amusing, but which also leaves you with the sense that you've just seen all the good parts? Think of what you're reading now as the same sort of thing, except that it covers the bad parts of A Time To Run, the new novel by Barbara Boxer, the liberal Democratic senator from California.
Of course, saying that A Time To Run has a few bad parts really doesn't give Boxer enough credit the whole book is stupendously awful, from the first page to the last. As a service to you, dear reader, I have slogged my way through it, in order to share with you the worst of the worst.

And now, for the dirty bits the sex scenes! Yes, Senator Boxer has written a few, and not all of them involve humans.
I leave it to you, gentle reader, to click the link to partake of these particular delights. I cannot bring myself to post them.

Good lord! I was doing fine until the part about the kneecap fetish, which promptly had me gasping for breath from all the laughing. And then followed by the horses!! What publisher in the world would put this book in print?? I called Mr. NHD at work and had him pull this article up. It's the only really great laugh he'll probably have all day......

I suspect this is just a vehicle for another "donation" scam like was used by the Dems in Texas years ago. Don't remeber which Dem politician used book purchases as an illegal route to getting payoffs.

That would be house speaker Jim Wright. Ever since then the Dems have tried to smear every GOP ranking congresscritter and make a comparison between them.

Boxer is a moron, and as a resident of the area that she comes from, I can honestly say that she perfectly represents and reflects the mentality of her constituents.
I saw on the local news that the clown is going to have a "book signing" about 10 minutes from my house...hmmm.Should I show up and pull a stunt? Maybe bring some crayons and ask for an autograph? Maybe bring a cow chip and ask her whats the difference between her "book" and this? What an embarrassment !

However, it wasn't quite so moronic out there before the Clinton administration.

The first two pages of this piece of dreck were all I could take. I'm surprised that Boxer didn't publish under a pseudonym.

There is a difference -- Wright's book was a "collection" of his floor remarks, hastily assembled by his staff, printed by a vanity publisher, and distributed to contributors at Democrat fundraisers and other shakedown victims.
Boxer's book is a "legitimate" novel, meaning it is published by a commercial publisher and for sale in the retail market (click HERE for the amazon.com page).
Of course, nothing about this difference says anything in regard to literary merit, of which neither effort appears to have very much.
