I can understand item #2 (SCOTUS); they're just covering their collective a$$e$, and #3 (Liberals) they can kiss Slick Willy; but Amendment XIX? What does Womens Suffrage and the right to vote have to do with the requirement to file for a permit?

By and large they dislike guns and, especially when men fail them, they look to Government for safety and security.
Now, before anyone gets their panties in a wad, they need to understand that, just as surely as it's an unpopular bit of truth (especially in this day and age), there are many notable exceptions.
