Excellent point! And, what's wrong with not wanting kids acting like ild animals in a store? While I think the sign could have been worded a bit more tactfully, good parents are not offended.

I think the sign is just right. If any of those kids are in pre-school or kindergarten, which I suspect they are, they already know about 'inside voices'.

I thought the one he had was too nice and deferential.
