Amazing that 73 is so controversial - 53-47? Gosh, a lot of Californians think their minor daughters shouldn't have to let their parents know if they are seeking abortions, but at the same time know that they need parental PERMISSION to go on a school trip or get a cavity filled.

Voters in California back abortion rights. But they also like the idea of parental notification. Its going to pass in this Blue State and that's a setback for Planned Parenthood and the National Association Of Gals that spent millions to defeat this measure.

Precisely. You can't take anything stronger than an aspirine, vote or drink alcohol without parental permission, yet you CAN have an abortion?? It's insane.
