The Hispanic effect at work in Imperial County. Imperial probably has a majority of Hispanic voters:

  73 Minor's Pregnancy 5,143 68.1 2,415 31.9

  74 N Teacher Tenure 3,271 42.6 4,397 57.4

  75 N Public Union Dues 3,583 46.7 4,082 53.3

You can see the huge variation from state patterns.

There's NO probably about it. Imperial County is definitely Latino.

Yes you can. They are real strong on 73. IMO, they should be proud of that. I just can't buy into the idea of sending a child into surgery without parental knowledge, no matter how it's painted.

Another straw in the wind on 73. Orange county has 15% of the today vote in. The margin from the absentees for union dues dropped 4%, the margin for 73 went up 2%. Hispanics are probably mostly today voters.
