Did you catch the statement by the former San Francisco mayors daughter who said that San Franciscans like to think of themselves as not being part of the United states. They're more than welcome to secede ;). It would save the rest of us who care about someone other than ourselves.

Maybe it is time for the normal people of California to think about splitting off those parts of California that have slipped over the edge of common sense.
