An opposition minority vote, at the very least, weakens the mandate of the winning vote. I'd rather lose by a tenth of a percent than by 10 percent, if I have to lose. Then at least there's a sense of hope.

Winning in politics is the whole ball game. The Democrat will now take this state where they want it to go. There's no trying to gloss over the picture. That's what voters want.
