78 was endorsed by Arnold and Republicans mostly to get an alternative on the ballot to the horrible 79. Those who favored 78, rather 79 are perfectly happy to see both of them lose.

Those who favored 78, rather 79 are perfectly happy to see both of them lose. Exactly right in my case. I voted for 78 just to forestall 79, but I would prefer 78 to fail as well.
