In case anyone's interested in the Roanoke City Sheriff race. With 48% of precincts reporting, the George Allen-endorsed Octavia Johnson is leading.

Well she better be leading. If she can't throw out that slimeball RAT, just go ahead and throw Virginia into the blue column.

Unfortunately, Virginia has been trending less and less Republican lately, primarily due to the urban sprawl of Washington...it was fairly close in 2004 for President there IIRC (something like 53-46?)
