If we lose these spots, I hope it's an eye opener to the RNC, to W, the RINOS and the pubs at the Hill! We are sick of their WHINEY, WIMPY ways and the base will stay home,....unfortunately...sigh!

Shenandoah has got it's numbers reversed. Everyone is certain of that. Kilgore is up 55.17% to 43.12% according to:

Must have been a big Dem area just reporting - Leslie Byrne has pulled ahead, and most people think she has no chance of winning.

Yep. It's very clear that the GOP forumula in 2005 has sucked. Dubya's approval ratings are indeed in the toilet. That is negatively impacting the entire GOP. I have said so for months only to be told the polls are all wrong, etc.

They have a year to turn it around, but not if they are in denial.

Did the GOP need "clarity and wisdom" to adjust after Warner won back in '01? No need, it was just a blip on the radar. So we lose an election. Can't win 'em all.

Even the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association agrees. (on 74, 75, 76, 77 & 80 -- they take no position on 73, 78 & 79.

Bump that.

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that almost all of the candidates I voted for lost.

:-)

All I know is that the absolute gloating of the MSM tomorrow should VA & NJ go 'rat tonight will make me vomit. I probably will not have the stomach to view. Guarantee if Repub wins, news will be on page A23.

No need to overstate it.

The question is will folks realize what I (and other Freepers) have said for a while - the polls are accurate, Dubya's approval ratings are in the dumps, it's impacting the whole GOP, and compromises his leadership ability.

Or will they continue to insist that the polls are all wrong and that nobody they know dislikes Dubya?

I can only hope, pray, that it begins with the firing of Scott McClellan.

"Can Freepers cope with the fact that the polls are accurate and the people are kicking the GOP tonight?"

This Virginia FReeper sure can. But then again, I do happen to be a Democrat.....

While there's a great deal of difference between the two parties with regard to their stated beliefs, how they act when elected isn't all that different. That's especially true in Virginia.
