Does Hollywood even want to make money any more? They are coming off one of their worst summers in memory and they think gay cowboys eating pudding (hat tip: Cartman) will fill the Peoria cineplex?

Every year they have declining box office and can't figure out why. Wow, what a bunch of dummies.
The last world wide hit they had out of hollywierd they denounced, "The Passion of The Christ", and that was only made because of Mel Gibson.

Must we destroy all of our cultural icons? No, we mustn't. Hollyweird and the whacko left that controls Hollyweird must and will continue to do so.

They need to run this slick, Hollywood beautified promo right along side random interviews from the Gay Rodeo in Austin, TX. Let me tell you, the real world will have you think "EEEWWWEEE" about gay cowboys!
To: Cicero
I agree completely. My wife loves to watch them, but they mean nothing to me at all. I can't watch for more than a few minutes before being repulsed so bad I simply cannot continue to watch.

Homosexual Agenda Ping.
A few months ago there was a big noise made about this revolting specimen of a movie. Now they're trying to make it appealing to the masses via Oscarhood. Fat chance. Reminds me of the Kinsey bio "starring" Liam Neeson (another actor I will never clap my eyes on). I don't remember reading if it was a flop or not, I certainly hope so - hope it lost money big time.
Imagine long lines of people trying to get in to see this!
Freepmail me and DirtyHarryY2K if you want on/off this pinglist.
Note: Another example (as if you needed one) of how Hollyweird is actively trying to - with some success - to mold the hoi polloi into a shape they like. Immoral, leftist, shallow, God haters like themselves.

Looks like Anne Hathaway is trying to avoid being typecast in "Princess Diaries"-type movies.

The Oscars are following in the same tradition as the Nobel Peace Prize, it will be given to the movie that most offends America's Judeo-Christian values.

The idea of making good movies anymore is, at best, secondary.
Also the idea of making money, apparently.

Premise: Set in Texas and Wyoming, this is the romantic tale of two male cowboys from very different backgrounds who meet and fall in love while working together as sheep ranch hands near Wyoming's Brokeback Mountain the summer of 1961. Their lives take different courses, however, with Jack Twist (Gyllenhaal) becoming a rodeo cowboy while Ennis Del Mar (Ledger) remains a ranch hand, and the film follows their lives as they see each other again over the next 20 years. Their relationship is rocky, however, as they must deal with the challenges posed as the intolerance of pre-(and post)-Stonewall rural America rears its ugly, violent head against the two lovers. (Williams plays Ledger's wife; Hathaway plays Gyllenhaal's wife; Quaid plays a ranch foreman.)
Gay activist movie.

I predict even smaller ratings for the awards show and less roles for the actors.
