The riots appear to be touching the center of Paris with 4 vehicles burned near the Place de la Republique ( http://no-pasaran.blogspot.com/ )
Most of the media is just getting around to reporting yesterday's news.
The Beeb ( I give no source for this trash ) of course is sympathetic to the request for respectful language by leading islamic advocate Boubakeur, objecting to Sarkozy's term racaille ( scum ) for those who murder a 10 year old, kill a father in front of his family, and set a handicapped person afire with gasoline.
The media once again retains its Three Monkeys award, hands down.

I've just subscribed to LCI, the 24-hour French news channel that also broadcasts online. Note to others here: don't waste your money. It's 1:25 in the morning there, and they've been talking about an asbestos scandal for the past 10 minutes.
