Please know ahead of time that there is going to be Bush bashing here in Panama on Monday. But realize that the ones doing the bashing are a bunch of communist hoodlums and not the average citizen on the street. In other words, the MSM will make it appear that all the citizens of Panama are anti Bush.
In fact, there has been no anti American or Bush bashing in the local press. It seems that folks are pleased to have the President of the United States visit Panama.
Yesterday, during a Panamanian holiday parade, a student tore up the American flag in front of the Panamanian president’s stand (box). The President didn’t know where to look and shook his head in disgust. A local newspaper today came down hard on the student, and the school says it will take reprisal against the little idiot.

Bush is down there to announce another step in the 'integration of the hemisphere' deal. You'd think the man in the street would be thrilled, especially when he looks at the end result to come....free trade and free travel throughout the hemisphere. Come and go as you please. Whether the average American will be thrilled is another matter,(since we're dispensing with American sovereignty and control of our borders, etc.), but you'd think the South and Central American 'street' would be ecstatic. Idiots.
