if they don't get this problem under control and begin assimilating this new population.

Do you really think this "new population" really wants to "assimilate"?

Okay, okay! I agree. I made the "within a generation" crack because I thought it would be over-reacting to say "all of Europe" would go up in flames NOW. Still, your point is well taken. It could happen much sooner. I don't think that this is a continent-wide civil war (yet), but it may be the opening shot.

The toothpaste was out of the tube years ago. It will be near impossible to get it back in.

Plagarizing myself from previously re: assimilation-

When my grandparents came here in the '20's, they were ghettoized. I know that for a fact because I remember the neighborhood where they lived till I was in my early teens. However, they were so glad to have been given a place here that they assimilated as much has was needed. Some assimilated more and sooner than others, but all assimilated enough to work and take care of themselves...by the way, NO social legislation was in place for anyone who fell through the cracks. You would sink or swim on your own efforts and merits. They even looked down on their own who failed to take advantage of what they regarded as golden and abundant opportunities here. It worked, all moved away from their first circumstances and attained conditions much better. This in one generation or so. I think if the second world war did not intervene, many would have succeeded sooner, my father for certain. But he saw his duty and went. Also, when he returned home, and like his own father he took a job in a steel mill in the filthiest and most dangerous conditions you can think of, but he got out of where he started and so did his parents, with the help of the children. So our father took care of us and took care of his parents and siblings as well. This after playing craps with his life in Europe against the 'other' Nazis. All of civilization stares these murdering terrorists in the face as an indelible lesson and they STILL don't get it!!!

This is all the French need to know right now about "assimilation."

Of course not! That's just another fallacy of MULTI-CULTURALISM!!I just wonder how long it will take The French to surrender? It only took them two-weeks in the summer of 1940!!!
