I'm going to print this out and send it to school with my 15 year old son, who had to sit in class yesterday and watch a film on how great France is and how horrible Bush and the US are. He said the entire film was anti-American and he walked out of the classroom. Before he left he said "I'm not watching this bull Sh*t."
(teacher gave him detention!) She can read this while he sits in detention! By the way, we live in MASS...Liberalism is a prerequisite to getting a teaching job!

Liberalism may not be a prerequisite in having a teaching job everywhere in the U.S., but it certainly is in the college curriculum for education majors. Conservative teachers trying to make inroads in the NEA face incredible opposition. It's very sad.

As a future teacher (and probably in the minority for being a conservative) I say bravo to your son!

I would have my child stand and read it in class read this out loud in protest. I would have my child demand her right of leftest "civil disobedience".

Home schooling sounds like a very good idea. For a child to have to sit in class in our public school and listen to how horrible America is....is about as bad as it gets.

It's the same here in the NY public schools..but I'm sincerely impressed with your son's courage; you must be proud. It takes guts to go against the grain and take a stand against the hate-America filth that is being forced down the throats of kids in the public school system. I can only hope that my daughter will be as courageous as your son when she comes up against the same leftist indoctrination attempt.

You'da thunk the school might have been a mite embarrassed to show that whilst the riots were in progress. Male bovine used food indeed.
