Family members are investigating what they consider to be suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of a nursing home patient at the center of a life and death tug-of-war reminiscent of the Terri Schiavo tragedy.
Seventy-nine-year-old Jimmy Chambers died in the early morning hours of Oct. 24 after the tracheotomy tubes that deliver oxygen from a ventilator to a hole in his neck became unhooked. Family members were told Chambers, a resident of the Anne Maria Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in North Augusta, S.C., apparently pulled the interlocking tubes apart.
"We're having it investigated. We're just incredulous," Chambers' daughter, Deanna Potter, told WND in reference to her siblings. "The last time I saw dad he was blowing me a kiss. I blew him one and he blew one back."
The retired dispatcher for Holland Motor Express died approximately 10 hours later. His death certificate indicates he died of "natural causes."
"Apparently, suffocation is a 'natural cause' when you're on a ventilator. We're contesting that," said Potter. "He suffocated. He didn't just pass away. He struggled and fought. And I'm just so angry."
Potter estimates it would have taken 10 to 14 minutes for her father, deprived of oxygen, to fall unconscious, and questions why the nursing home staff didn't come to his aid.
"The oxygen-saturation meter and his ventilator both would have had alarms going off. Four-thirty, five o'clock in the morning you'd think someone would hear this," she added. "That's the thing that really bothers me and makes me suspicious."

Should we put an alert out that we've been warned that a terrorist will be on board seeking death?
I think I'll skip a cruise with Felos on it. His voice is not one that I want to hear ever again.

Well, that about covers it. Excellent post!
My faith has never been stronger or more abiding. I learned so much through Terri's life, her suffering, her family's suffering and her barbaric, illegal death.
Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord.
(even for left wing reporters)
Loved your post, Wampus! Merry Christmas!
PNSN, how true about the spirit of the anti-Christ in Felos and the death-lovers!
I find it sad that Greer and other judges think that he followed the letter of the law, but they completely missed the spirit of the law. I've read the Florida Constitution (applicable parts) so many times during the course of Terri's ordeal, and I am amazed and confused that judges cannot understand the concept of spirit of the law. It is beyond scary.
he sounds more like a girl, then, well, a girl. a whiny girl, kissing judge behind to get his/her wishes. One time he slipped and said Michael's wishes during a press conference.
If that ship sunk with Felos aboard, I would find that to be delightful irony that he would die from drowning in water as opposed to Terri's dying because of a lack of it.
Too quick and painless.
[sarcasm warning]
I think he should be eaten by fire ants, or roasted on a spit, or forced to eat fifty bushels of garlic followed by sixty bushels of jalapenos, or eaten by a slow crocodile, or hung upside down from his sensitive areas, or executed by 12 boys with BB guns and as many BBs as it takes. I think he should be coated with gravy and thrown into a pit full of hungry puppies. I think he should walk on cobblestone streets in 5-inch spike heels. I think he should spit on the bride at a Mafia wedding.
/sarcasm, maybe.
LOL - All sound like good options to me!
It's Christmas, or I'd get really cross with George.
You did a good job at showing your contempt for evil. The goodness within you rises up when evil raises it's ugly head one more time. You are what FR is all about.
Good point. This time of year, those of the Felosian faith say, "Have a Hellish Antichristmas".
Many thanks, Lesforlife, for bringing this travesty to my attention. This is a very disturbing story personally, scares the gizzard out of me, that we can allow such a murder and make it look nice and good.
We could only wish our own son was doing as well as Dylan at that age, yet we fought naturally to keep him alive. He brought us much joy throughout those many years, even though worse off, yet his own joy shone through vastly longer than any doctor would say, for twenty six years. Not in our darkest moments of dispair could we ever imagine what this sad set of parents justified.
What is our world coming to that we can glorify such happy horse felos?
It is a bone chilling story, in what they did and their glorification of the heinous deed and a powerful reminder of the death cult trying to crowd around us.

This is Euthanasia at it's best. They make it seem so compassionate to let a little boy starve to death. Truly sad.
Meanwhile, another honor bestowed. North Country Gazette reports.
ST. PETERSBURG, FLA---The attorney who allegedly committed the fatal error in the Schiavo case, the basis for the denial of all future appeals which sounded the death knell for Terri Schiavo, will be honored by the St. Petersburg Bar Foundation at their "Heroes Among Us" dinner on Jan. 21.
