Thanks. I'm guessing that some of those commenting had not seen the several threads that pounced on the "lie" based on the fact that the school buses would not have been biracial yet (which assumed clinton was talking about school buses). I thought a bit of an explanation might be in order, as I could see your intent but others apparently couldn't.

I was not aware of the context. Doug has a point. And, since he is a future first ballot inductee into the as-yet-unbuilt FReeper Hall of Fame, I would not presume to criticize him.

We agree. No matter where he goes and what he does ---- it is always about him. That is the story. Unfortunately, people have been shooting their mouths off without knowing anything. I made the call to the school district with the hopes of proving it was absolutely false. Perhaps blacks and whites did not share the same school bus. Perhaps he lived right next to the school and never took a bus. Perhaps blacks lived on the other side of town and he couldn't possibly have associated with them. This is one of the few times when what he is saying may actually contain some truth.
