Supreme Court Justices Russell Nigro (D) and Sandra Schultz Newman (R), both of Philadelphia, are up for a 10-year retention election on Nov. 8. The justices were among those who OKd the large pay raise -- clearly barred by any laymans reading of the state constitution -- the state legislature voted itself last summer. Of course, judges also got a pay raise.

I've been thinking that. May history repeat.
As I understand it, the bills would make the payraise constitutional namely that it would take effect after an election as would be required.
It was still inexcusable for the legislature to pass it in the first place and exponentially more inexusable for our Supreme Court to find the passing constitutional.
Legislators won't be up for re-election until next year.
Vote the judges out Nov. 8!!!!!!!
The dead rise on election day! ;^)
bump for another day
Now's the time to vote in a poll that counts. Get to the voting booth. No to Nigro and Newman
