Wow... Harry Reid's complaint is the pick isn't politically correct, that he's an appellate judge and he's a white male. Doesn't sound like a substantiative complaint to me. Samuel A. Scalito is superbly qualified to sit on the U.S Supreme Court. Its funny to hear "elitism" now being raised as a charge by the Democrats. Scalito is no O'Connor clone and they know it. That's the real reason behind Reid's distress.

I am disappointed in this choice for several reasons. First, unlike previous nominations, this one was not the product of consultation with Senate Democrats. Last Friday, Senator Leahy and I wrote to President Bush urging him to work with us to find a consensus nominee. The President has rejected that approach.
THANK YOU MR. PRESIDENT!!!

What? Dingy Harry..is President Bush no longer taking your calls? LMAO..they had to WRITE to him? This speaks volumes. I bet Bush doesn't have weekly breakfasts with these minority "leaders" any longer.
LMAO! I LOVE IT>..we so need a good positive pick-me-up and this is it.

Reid is a socialist buffoon. I love the sound of libs ranting and squealing in pain at the mere thought of Constitutional government.

He has passed the leftist test and that's good enough for me. If a Dingy Harry, Swimmer, Turban, Sheets or other leftist dinosaur doesn't like him, he must be good.

Now the Senate needs to find out if the man replacing Miers is too radical for the American people.
Too radical for Harry Reid means this judge may vote to uphold private property rights that were devastated in Kelo, and too radical also means voting against a UMichigan quota system that the Democrat appointed judges are for. Who's the radicals?

Dingy Harry also called upon Rove to resign today and for the President and Cheney to publicly apologize for the Libby debacle. Old Dingy will now have a cow what with Alito in the picture. Will the RINOS support the man or not, is the key question?? McLame seems to be doubting that possibility. Will the Gang of 14 do anything right? Will we see an up and down vote in the Senate? The MSM will now go wild again and get it wrong, of course. No veto for Alito!
