Reid's hissy fit over the Alito pick.

"First, unlike previous nominations, this one was not the product of consultation with Senate Democrats..."

Seems pretty petty to me. Bush wouldn't kiss Reid's ring, so Reid is going to blackball Alito's nomination.

Filibuster, come on Libs. Go ahead. Make our day. Someone get the rope ready for McCain and the other 13 wimps. Call up the key for the "Red Button" for the Nuclear Option. It's time to end this war and bury the enemy of Freedom.

For the third time, he has declined to make history by nominating the first Hispanic to the Court.

If that is so freakin' important to you, Harry, why didn't you work to end the filibuster against Miguel Estrada, you lying POS?

The newspapers are filled with stories about how this past week has been President Bush's worst week, but as usual the press is laughably wrong - in fact, it is shaping up nicely as the start of positive momentum for the President...

The President has chosen a man to replace Sandra Day O’Connor, one of only two women on the Court. For the third time, he has declined to make history by nominating the first Hispanic to the Court.

When did the SCOTUS begin a quota system?

Harry Reid; "President Bush would leave the Supreme Court looking less like America and more like an old boys club."

Okay Harry. Are you saying he should have picked an Illegal Alien drug dealing criminal gang banger who can't speak English??

No, no, wait. Lemme guess - you wanted gangsta rapper 50 Cent!

We'll have to come up with a new keyword for old Harry like we had with Daschle: HRIDD?

For the third time, he has declined to make history by nominating the first Hispanic to the Court.

And how many times have Democratic presidents declined to make history by nominating an Hispanic for the Court?

Alito sounds more Hispanic (Latin) than Ginsburg or Breyer.

I'm disappointed with the Alito pick. We all know that Harriet Miers was the best, most qualified person for the job.

it all.///and just think..afteer they've done
their worst...Odds are Alito will be confirmed.

I am disappointed in this choice for several reasons.

Good!

First, unlike previous nominations, this one was not the product of consultation with Senate Democrats.

Tough!
