Like a rubbernecker drawn to a train wreck, I am drawn towards that Bill Maher show. Hes one of those people you love to hate, and his show is most interesting when he has someone articulate on his show who opposes his point of view. So I watched when Christopher Hitchens was on recently. And I watched last night when Tony Snow was on.
Tony absolutely ripped Maher up.
He exposed Maher for the clueless fraud he is. And he did it with a smile. It was an amazing performance. If you have HBO, you have to watch it in reruns this week.

Atta-boy, Tony!
I'm shocked that maher would have Tony on...mostly, it's libnut maher plus 3 libnut guests who all trumpet each other's stupidities.
I have watched it once for about 5 minutes and other times have surfed thru to see who the guests were. It's nothing but insane Bush-bashing, probably like Err America.
Bravo Tony! Tony for SCOTUS and in 2008 as Condi's VEEP!
It's deeper than that Maher's father is a media heavy weight and I bet that that is what got him back on the air after his 911 gaffe. Maher is what makes the MSM what it is and isn't.
And I'm loving the fact that Tony Snow is out there speaking his mind. God Bless him and good healt to a good man.
This is why Maher usually doesn't have real conservatives on his show. Maher doesn't like being reminded that he has the intellectual capacity of a flea.
Bill Maher - sound of fingernails scratching a blackboard.
bttt
Ann Coulter + Bill Maher???
"You can tell a man who boozes by the company he chooses...
and the pig got up and slowly walked away."
Now THERE's a saying I've not heard before.......

Thanks for responding to him, Patterico. LOL. That character obviously didn't read the article. Thanks for bringing to our attention another example of Tony Snow's brilliance.
I saw it, and Tony was great! Maher and his audience of Lefty miscreants were left with nothing but snide comebacks, as usual.
Tony was on a year ago as well. Complete transcript here...

Maher: Second of all: I do think John Kerry now looks to the American people like he could be president.
CROSS: Sure.
MAHER: Of France. But thats a start. [laughter] No. Is he not beating Bush in these debates?
STEELE: Well, I think tonights debate, you saw the president come out a lot stronger than he did, obviously, the last time. I think the president came clearly and wanted to state some basic principles that he believed in. And I liked what I liked about this debate was the engagement between the two and with the audience. You really got the chance to see them as Americans would like to see them, sort of talking about these issues to Americans. And whether you agree or disagree with the points they were making, that engagement, I think, was important. The length you can deal with, but I think the connection with the people is what this election really boils down to.
SNOW: Im less high-minded than he is. I liked the fact that they were beating the shit out of each other. [laughter] You know, I mean, what you got is engagement. The president was fighting back. But Im like you, it is 90 minutes of hell. And you just want to drive a knitting needle through your head and be done with it, because[laughter]its not imaginative. Theyre not responding. Theyre giving answers to questions that arent asked. And after a while, you think, come on, didnt you hear the friggin question?
After Juan Williams defended "poor Joe Wilson" and his wife on Fox News Sunday yesterday, Brit Hume retorted with, "Somebody ought to take you out and hose you down, Juan. The Senate Intelligence Committee reported that Wilson lied about his trip to Niger and the results."
Take that, Juanie.
Geez, he almost looked like he was going to cry. Juan usually does not get as strident a comment from Brit as this. It was a classic moment. I may never tape over it!
Now Tony Snow went out there as well? What is going on?
It is like Bizzarro world. Is Free Republic going to give Maher an invitation here too?
Sometimes, one has to beard the lion in his own den.
