Okay, Freepers, I need your help here.
I think I may know what happened to get Wilsons wife outed. For the most part I think I can prove it. I just need a little more information. The kind of stuff I cant get to. But, I now know it all was a last ditch effort to stop the war before Saddam was captured in Iraq on 14 December, 2003
Please dont go thinking Im off my rocker, I dont normally attempt investigative sourcing, but I do think there are legs under this story and they might begin here.
{SIGH} Copying and Pasting the exact post you responded to, this time bolded:
"U.S. and U.K. intelligence agencies had extensive amounts of information on Iraq's intention's of purchasing Uranium"
If you are indeed sincere, with the limited amount of cognitive ability you publicly display i recommend you stay out of politics. Seriously.
I apologize. My last comment was a little harsh.
Since then I've gone back re-read the state of the union - if i had done that first I would not have asked that question.
Besides, who among us has not posted something in haste?
Oh, and thank you for the apology..no harm, no foul.
Does anybody remember the citation where he met with his former wife on that trip?
Key Phrases:
She is FARA-registered for Gabon - the Presidency itself: The registrant contacted U.S. Government officials on behalf of the foreign principal concerning Gabon's aids programs and travelled to central Africa concerning health issues. $8,000.00 for the six month period ending June 30,2002 Other outfits registered for Gabon declare far more generous rewards. And Bongo is the only client for which she is FARA-registered.More at the link, some in French which I can't translate, we may need piasa's assistance on that part.Neither Joseph Wilson nor his company is registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
"I wonder why France signed on" at the UN:
Maybe b/c US could prove the Italo/French forgery?
Maybe b/c Chirac is a very dirty boy, and we've got proof?
Didn't we learn many years ago that France sold nuclear secrets to Pakistan (and Syria? and Iran???)? Did Chirac supervise those deals? Wasn't Chirac in danger of prosecution (for what, I dunno) in France for some major corruption, recently? And he was sweating bullets before he got re-elected, b/c under French law, no current French official can be prosecuted? I bet we have the goods on him and wonder if that, too, is linked to the Oily Food Crimes.
The only refuge for Chirac, after his current office, would be to become some assinine 'crat in the emerging EuroThing- hence he was mortified that the people of France didn't OK the proposed EuroThing Constitution, or whatever they're calling it.
I think those forged docs were an attempt to "pre-empt" the US' position that Iraq sought/bought nuclear materials in Africa/Niger. Isn't that what's called a "double blind"?
For example- you have a legitimate videotape of me robbing a bank, so I produce a tape showing almost the same thing, but in the end, either it shows it's not me afterall or it contains telltale signs that (my) videotape was faked, which casts considerable confusion and doubt on your videotape, especially to those - say, the public at large- who have no way to examine either tape.
I need to expand my spookese vocabulary! Surely there's a term for what I described? I dunno if "double blind" is correct.
Paperjam- You do tremendous work.
A timeline of activities/public utterances might be very helpful, indeed, showing Wilson/Jaqueline Wilson/Plame/that Italian "reporter" guy/Tenet/ and maybe add: Kerry/Terry Kerry/Koffi Annan/Chirac. Paranoia may yet prove profitable. Or if not, at least fun. Someone else mentioned doing a timeline. Good idea. A namechase might be instructive, also. You're probably already on it.
I just read a bio of Scooter and it said he or his law firm represented- you'll never guess- Denise Rich, ex-wife of Marc Rich, the super-mysterious arms dealer, oil dealer bar none, and the guy Clinton pardoned in the wee hours- no pun intended- of his Presidency. I'd like to know what that case was all about. Strange bedfellows, it seems.
Also, Theresa Heinz Kerry , consultant to the UN, has been friends with Koffi Annan since they attended language school in Geneva. John Kerry, friend of the Frenchies, may be a useful idiot to the Oily Food people (or maybe a simple idiot) and there's just too many cross-references between Oily Foodies and WoeJoe Wilson to ignore.
Keep up your excellent digging.
Mr Chekou ought to have known, as they originated from Niger's Rome embassy when he was ambassador. But when I saw him at his home in a suburb of Niger's capital, Niamey, he claimed he knew nothing.Although some of this doesn't square with the story we have already, Martino claimed the documents came from the embassy, so the Chekou link to the Niger Embassy is interesting.Western intelligence claims an "under-paid African diplomat" sold the forgeries to Italian intelligence for a few thousand dollars. The Italians were said to have passed the information to MI6, who passed it to the US, though Britain denies this, saying it did not see the fake documents until this year.
More:
Its eavesdropping work brought to light a hotline between Niger Ambassador Adamou Chekou (today advisor to Niger President Tandja Mamadou) and Iraqi diplomats in Rome, specifically with Wissam al-Zahawiah, Iraqi Ambassador to the Holy See.Holy See? As in Vatican? Where Vincent Cannistraro is the security advisor? Hmmm...
Too bad I can't find anything on the other two, Chekou and Zahawiah, other than copies of this story.
Just, Damn.
RE: Jacqueline "C" Wilson
perhaps it's a typo, or mis-read off of a handwritten form - and should be a "G"?
A typo is another thing I've considered. But even if that's it, what's still odd about it is that the name "Jacqueline Wilson" (with whatever middle initial) is associated with that address at all, since Joseph Wilson and Valerie Plame bought the house, not Jacqueline Wilson.
I wonder what kind of advice he was sending to Washington back then. Peace at any price?
Yes, it was a story about the Gulf Crisis. It included the wedding photo with a caption as background, and probably to add a human interest angle to the story.
I don't know what advice he gave Washington, but his supervisor April Glaspie has been criticized for not being firm enough in delivering Washington's warnings to Saddam, and when Wilson speaks on Glaspie he defends her and speaks of trying to "correct" the historical record on her, which comes across as defending himself. It seems to be a sore spot for Wilson.
