And all the while being totally oblivious to what appears to be a CIA plot to undermine the President of the United States. Isn't it the case that SP investigations are generally pretty narrow in scope? Perhaps Fitzgerald doesn't have the authority to investigate a possible CIA plot.............the question is, who does?

Isn't it the case that SP investigations are generally pretty narrow in scope? I think they can go back to the judge and ask to expand the investigation. He probably did just that after he found that nobody had violated the 1979 spy outing law that he was originally asked to investigate.
