Plus, Robert Novak has always said that when he called the CIA to verify her status...that they asked him NOT to reveal her in his column...but he did anyway.

What is up with that...and why didn't he get in trouble..if her status was so "classifed"????

I heard him [Novak] say that when he called CIA, they did not go through the usual "please, please don't print here name" or "DO NOT PRINT HER NAME!!! WE COMMAND YOU" routine. [Of course, I paraphrased] In fact Novak said they were pretty much indifferent.
