If a prosecutor can play a GJ all he wants, without letting any contrary evidence in, then the GJ merely becomes a formality step in being dragged to the court on a serious charge??

I've served on a Grand Jury for 18 weeks once and while it is true that the Prosecutor has a great amount of leverage to try and swing the GJ, it is not that easy. When you have twenty people in a room with the ability to ask witnesses any question they want it sifts through the B.S. pretty quickly. Also, the GJ can ask anyone to come in and testify and the Prosecutor has to allow it.

The left has been saying that Libby's assistant, Josh Hannah, is cooperating with the prosecutor. My suspicion and obviously its only that, is that the reason Libby will likely be indicted is that he probably denied he had any notes, destroyed the original copy of his notes, then said Russert was his source when his notes say Cheney. Unfortunately, someone else had a copy.

I think if I were on the Democratic National Committee I would be really nervous right now because Porter Goss could find out that CIA employees operating on behest of the DNC is causing all this trouble. That could have some really ugly results as one Terry McAuliffe could get in trouble BIG TIME. Stuck On Stupid

The waiting game has started about another non-story.  Who outed Valerie Plame-Wilson as a desk person with the CIA; who will be indicted? 
Who cares? 

The woman was not undercover(s) except with her husband, hopefully at home.

If anyone should be indicted it should be Wilson. "Frog March" Joey boy through Chuckie Schumer's office with a whole cadre of MSM Photographers clicking away.

Only if the leak was a crime, and it came from Cheney who has clearance to someone who does not. IMO it is not likely but the MSM play that angle for all it's worth. Now if Cheney asked Libby to leak the information and that information was indeed classified then Cheney could be implicated but that also is quite a stretch IMO.

Just because (and IF) Cheney discussed Plame with Libby does not mean that Libby didn't hear it BEFORE from reporters. Maybe he did and then LIBBY brought it up to Cheney.

The fact is no one except MAYBE the SP knows who said what to whom and when they said it.
