If Wilson tries that you KNOW we'll get witnesses that will mention that he may have an exclusive article and/or book deal with a powerful New York City media or book publishing firm, and that could open up a major can of worms concerning if Wilson passed classified information to someone at the New York Times, Vanity Fair magazine, etc.

Mmmm, so the reports about the indictment may be premature. Interesting.
According to a person on Fox, they are voting on it around 11:00 - 11:30 today. She described it as a "formality", and that indictments will be forthcoming. After almost two years of investigations and this is IT????? On the last day? I dunno.
There is still more to this story then meets the eye. The SP asked Rove, as I posted days ago, not to divulge his testimony as it was germain to the on going investigation. I think that there is a undercover investigation in the CIA about all we've been posting about.

A very big stretch and not realistic given the current info. Cheney can discuss any issue he wants with his Chief of staff. Cheney would have to have made a false statement to the GJ. If this really is all Fitzgerald has got then it is a damn shame and the LSM has succeded again in pushing their left wing agenda through. However I do believe it is opportunity to rally Conservatives if President Bush acts like one. .

But why would Libby write such a note to Miller?? Supposedly Libby is just a source for a story that was never written. The note implies a degree of familiarity that belies Miller's statement that she & Libby spoke only three times. It just seems like a strange note.

1. At the time of Plame's name being mentioned, had she been a covert agent within the previous 5 years?
2.Did Rove or Libby break the law in respect to the main charge that a covert agent's name was leaked?
3. If Plame was not a covert agent, which this answer could probably be answered quickly, then why did this investigation last 2 years?

If I had told the truth to a jury, I would not consider it an "escape" not to be charged. And with the "sources" this week being so wrong already (just earlier this week, it was Rove who was the man goin down), I'd be hesitant to repeat such source's claims verbatim.
