It's just that I think the political right and the political left have politically, not legally or judicially, but legally fought to a standstill. 'Scooter' going to the can is the armistice. It has nothing to do with justice here. If Scooter is indicted ... he will get a trial before there is any talk of jail time

My wet dream is to see Fitzgerald get "Cheney'd", and told what he can go do to himself.

I am thinking so. It makes sense seeing his lawyer previously indicated the Rove was not a target".
I hope the best for Libby.

Fitzgerald needs a new grand jury.Sounds like ronnie earle here in Austin may be able to help him with that task.

Libby should hire Victoria Toensing since she wrote the law. lol! I'm sure he will be well taken care of with any attorney that he wants (or he had better be!). I hope Fitz has something besides not remembering something in the GJ by Libby or else he might as well shut it down.

No book deal yet, Fitzgerald needs a new grand jury. He and Dan Ratherbiased are working to schedule a full hour on "60 Minutes" to make the announcement there, but they need to find a Kinko's where nobody will notice them so they can get the "documents" ready.

Two years and another million dollars down the rat hole. Investigating whether some desk jockey at CIA was "outed?" RIDICULOUS! Valerie Plame was no more a "covert agent" than my cat! The Cisneros investigation has only been going on for ten friggin' years now...these "special counsels" are a JOKE!
Bottom line: if you are ever subpoenaed to appear before a Grand Jury, sell the house, pack up the wife and kids and get the hell out of the country 'cause a GJ can indict anyone for anything!

As I listened to Fox, it became evident that no one would be indicted for the original claim that someone outed an under cover CIA agent.
In other words, that crime was not committed. The reason for the investigation was not validated.
Instead, some aide is going to get in trouble because something he said apparently contradicts something he wrote. It's probably about oatmeal. He probably said to them that he didn't care much for oatmeal. His notes prepared revealed that he did have oatmeal one morning that he thought was OK.
The Oatmeal Indictment.

I feel the same way. Two years is way too much time and facilitates political mischief.

So far all I've been able to ascertain from the early reports that Libby is to be charged with lying to the GJ.

He will end up looking like a fool when this goes to trialDepends on who's being tried for what. Seems to me like the Wilsons have more to worry about than Rove or Libby at the moment.
