Per Fox News...
Anyone got an Eeyore gif for Mr. Kristol?
I think if Fitzy wants the indictment bad enough, he'll get the votes.
If it's reasonably believable (given recall from an incident 2 years ago, etc.) and there's no DNA laying around to snare you .. it's a legitimate defense.
I never go to DU, but my son told me they are all crying over there. DUer's want Rove to go down. I don't think most people on the street know who the heck Libby is.
Libby is a well-known, top notch lawyer in DC...I can't believe he is stupid enough to intentionally lie to a GJ...
Question is what is the next one after this.
It's not necessary to assume that, even though there's not a dime's worth of difference between a journalist and a Democratic politician. It is, rather, perfectly understandable that the rules of the game of journalism - "If it bleeds, it leads," and "there's nothing more worhless than yesterday's newspaper" for example - produce negativity and superficiality which is inimicable to the middle class values of the Republican Party. And it is perfectly understandable that the party which has the fewest scruples against exploiting that inherent MSM propaganda would gradually abandon any resistance to it - and become the political expression of the perspective inherent in journalism - a patronizing attitude towards the middle class and the Republican Party.
That patronizing attitude was on full display when Gore told Kemp in their VP debate that Kemp wasn't racist - for a Republican. When Kemp accepted that, he was allowing Gore to patronize the base of the Republican Party - something no Republican politician - least of all a VP candidate who should have an aggressive, attacking attitude - should ever do. It destroyed Jack Kemp as a national political figure.
Won't watch, will have come up with some spin & announce lawsuits for mega millions.
Or annouce Wilson's indictment was the result of an attempt to discredit him. (That would be sweet!)
Geez .. Kristol is back on with his doom and gloom
Actually ... Bill looks like he's gonna cry
Fox News is burning me, too. The guy just said that "Rove ESCAPED indictment, for the time being" (emphasis his). Since when does not being indicted constitute an "escape"? Only if your bias is that he should have been indicted.
WHen he was all depressed about Miers, some said he was a courageous man.
Now we know he is just depressing and sad.
Bttt about Wilson, Larry Johnson and Val "Colonel Flagg" Plame SUCKING EGGS!
And to quote our esteemed VP, "eff 'em".
I don't have much of an appetite right now.
I hope Wilson is as well, but I just don't see it at this point. Miller was called back for additional testimony and the NYT has effectively disowned her. I wonder why. Because she made a deal or because she is being indicted?
If the SC is still with the jury, there may be nothing here at all, or you may be right about Miller, I just don't know and I understand how how came to that conclusion. It took two to tango!
I'm gonna wait for confirmation and this BS about further investigation, this sounds like statute crap.
Very possible ... but it sounded like he didn't present the charges to the GJ yet
