That's what I hate about Lawrence Walsh, Ken Starr, Fitzmas and all the other 'independent councils'. We all know someone has to go down hard. It doesn't matter what the law says, and for all I know 'Scooter' could be a soul-sucking jerk.
It's just that I think the political right and the political left have politically, not legally or judicially, but legally fought to a standstill. 'Scooter' going to the can is the armistice. It has nothing to do with justice here.

Yes, it's way past time to wrap up this investigation and take any indictments and all the evidence to the courts and the people. Either dismiss any indictments or go to trial rapidly and get everyone to testify under oath with full disclosure of testimony to the public: Put Wilson, Plame, Novak, Miller, Russert, Cooper, CIA officials, and the Bush people under oath and get to the bottom of what happened here. Then let the juries and the American people decide. I'm tired of all the secrecy, endless investigation, deception, and the MSM's propaganda by leak campaigns.
