Greta the Great doesn't know that you get something called a trial before conviction? Greta the Great Lawyer. Perhaps she's going by the laws in Aruba?

Prior to July 14, 2003, Valerie Wilson's affiliation with the CIA was not common knowledge outside the intelligence community."

Andrea Mitchell admits on MSNBC, it was already common knowledge Planme worked for CIA.

Much ado about nothing, but they will try of course.

From Powerline blog.......

"SCOTT adds: Hilail Gildin writes: "Andrea Mitchell was asked, on MSNBC, whether it was generally known to news people, before the hullabaloo, that Ms. Planme worked for the CIA. She answered, somewhat reluctantly, that it was. In the light of this, I don't understand the ensuing fuss."

Novack said that his original source was a "senior administration official" but "no partisan gunslinger" -- the latter phrase was a clear indication it definitely was not Rove, who is obviously 'partisan'....and most would say a 'gunslinger'..... also not Libby, who is obviously 'partisan' even if usually more distant from partisan politics. Most have thought Novak was indicating his source was not in the WH but rather someone like Tenet or Powell......

It doesn't matter how much Wilson has lied, apparently.

Communists, every stinkin one of them.

Nepolitano -- they would show up at DC functions and Wilson would introduce his wife as my CIA agent wife... BEFORE Novak's column.

LOL...it is really getting harder and harder to tell who took the brown acid and who didn't.

Hillary was before a grand jury, wasn't she, when she pulled her "I don't remember" 90-something times?

today is the final day for this sitting GJ = he must request a new, second grand jury to further pursue any of this.

No, I don't know that POTUS will name his nominee today.

I just wish he would.

Best to not let this crap go into the weekend as the only big news.

Bill Clinton technically committed perjury when he said he was never alone with Blewinsky.

It was reported on CNN but early reporting is often wrong.

As far as I know, Russert has never even admitted/disclosed that he was called to testify. How's that for being truthful w/his audience? (An audience that has shrunk months ago by one, me.)

If Libby is ever convicted will he get a worse sentence than 'pantload' Berger?

No one cares whether or not she was covert.

No, no one does. She got her husband to take a CIA job. If you really want to remain covert, you don't bring your husband into the office. And she wasn't covert, as you have been told a billion times.

"Corruption of the Bush administration at the highest levels".

Here is the answer to that pack of lies:

Patrick Fitzgerald, the man you all said was an excellent and fair prosecutor, had unprecedented access to every person in this White House and, in fact, in the entire goverment, and ALL he was able to come up with was lying by a vice presidential staffer.

I was afraid about Fitz too, onyx. I was hoping he'd turn out to be an honorable Dem prosecutor. But there are few to none honorable Democrats anymore.

Zell Miller excluded.
