Pilates for cats (well, kittens - they're less discriminating) can also be done with kite tails... or so I discovered this past summer. I'm still not sure if the kite's gotten over it yet.

This is true, Felicity.

I once danced a tail-less, keel guide kite across the back yard while a very young and precocious Tuffy fought bravely, savagely.

Leaping up to scratch and slash and bring the Intruder down by shredding the kite's keel. Severing it and the string away.

Tuffy later perfected this attack to leap straight up and catch my neighbor's Racing Pigeons as they flew over the back yard.

Jack.

Wow.

Fine demonstration of cat skills by Tuffy. On the other hand, not exactly a day-brightener for the pigeons (or their owner, for that matter)...
