I concede that your thinking regarding the issue of gender is correct, although I disapprove strongly of such a consideration. I hope you are also correct about support for Bush's next nomination, although from many of the posts I have seen, I wonder.
That's entirely up to Bush. He can cough up another mediocrity, and be abandoned by his base, or he can give his followers a nominee worth fighting for.
