I think we all know we can do better and should be thankful we have been given another chance. So lets all get behind the next solid choice. Whoever it is, they will at least be better than Miers.

Nope......She was the presidents pick. I don't really know a damn thing about her and only a bit more about Roberts, since he actually had a hearing.

The process was screwed and there will be a price for that. It was a big mistake to not allow her a day or two to explain herself.

You will see a very small pie to pick from now. Bush may have to wait a while.

In the mean time, much of the country has had a look at Conservative governance, and they are no longer confortable with it.

That is the price. she should have had her day, and that is all that was important, whether she did well, or lost.
