Do you honestly believe the judges were not a big deal for the Evangelicals in the last few elections?
Sure they were, but if Evangelicals only want someone who is an Evengelical, without much interest in how they view interstate commerce, etc. then too bad for them. The evengelical community is an important one, and I hope that the next candidate is both and evangelical AND a brilliant legal scholar, who is an originalist.
