I do not believe that "hearings" are constitutionally required. What occurred here was "advice and consent"--albeit informal.

Yes...after hearing that Frist visited with Bush about this last night...I agree with you.

BTW...judges just keep making decisions....

I just saw a blurb on C-span that says a "FEDERAL" appeals court has ruled that Georgia CANNOT require picture ID for voters...
