How about the fact that she is a human being....that kind of respect..but she was treated like just so much dog poop ... Harriet Miers' humanity has never been in question ... has never been attacked ... and, has never been the problem.
Only Miers' suitability to be confirmed to a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court of the United States has ever been attacked ... justifiably attacked.
