Wonderful news for conservatives who have labored over twenty years to bring sanity back to our black robed tyrants and the Judiciary. This was a bone headed pick, and anyone who defended this nomination has become a Bush disciple and not a supporter. A supporter can disagree with a President while a disciple questions nothing. As a "Bushbot" I have no problem with Miers withdrawing, the crowing is coming from the Anti-Miers crowd. I am not ashamed of myself, nor should I be.

The President gets to pick, not you, not me. As for history, Bush won the presidency--twice. He deserves his pick. In this case his nominee has withdrawn, no tears from me. I just hope the next nominee can stand the fire of both the right and left.
