Oh, spare us. You'd think she was some innocent bystander yanked off the street into a strange van and forced to accept a nomination to the Supreme Court. She's a politician. If you think for one second she didn't know what she was getting into, no offense intended, but that sounds really naive.

I'm sure she'll be crying all the way to her answering machine with a dozen book deals tossed at her feet. Oh yeah, then she'll be back at her her unimportant job as counsel to the leader of the free world.
