Yesterday, I decided the "Antis" were right, substantively. However, the ones who were mean-spirited and took cheap shots have lost my support and friendship forever. Many here, and Ann Coulter, are on that list. They can pound sand.
Not that I was a big supporter of this nomination, I could not believe the ads I started seeing on TV against Miers. It was unbelievable to watch. There will be less donations from me based on these ads alone.
With all due respect... having a constructionist on the Court rather than yet another tyrant is worth far more than an anonymous friend can ever be.
