Make that a third Card fan crying in his beer. I have to admit, I'm pulling for the Sox, but I wanted a Sox - Cardinal Series. When I was a kid, someone gave me an old White Sox yearbook. Liked them ever since.

Of course, just like last night, I'm off to Coach my sons football team.
I'll be back at 8:15 Pacific to catch the last innings or 12. ;-)
Enjoy the game.

You did see the home run that wasn't last night didn't you? That was the only bad call of several bad calls that actually gave another team a run. The Sox actually had to bring the disputed base-runners home with clutch/timely hitting... the hallmark of a champion. Quit your bitching.

Have not lived in Chicago since 1978, and when I lived there, we lived on the North Side, and hence were always Cubbies fans first...but we also loved our White Sox...so here, out in the Pacific Northwest, me, and the hubby are cheering for the Sox... Similar story here. Born and raised and lived most of my life on the North Side of the city (6400 N, 2500 W). So naturally I have always been first and foremost a Cubs fan. But I always have followed and liked the Sox, too. Went to lots and lots of games at old Comiskey Park.
Moved out of Chicago some years ago and have lived mostly in St. Louis since. But tonight I wear a White Sox shirt and am cheering for my home town of Chicago!
GO SOX!

I'll watch the game here at home with my 9-yr.-old daughter, until she fades out. Then, if it looks like it might be a clinching night, I'll head over to the pub and join the Chicagoans there.

Good point. The Astros caught some breaks on calls last night, as they did against the Cards.

Ping me! Ping me! No need to. You're already here!
To: Leapfrog
Thanks for the ping, Leapfrog. Go Astros!

Let me say this for the Astros. Although it's 3-0, every game so far has been close and could have gone either way. Also, living here in St. Louis, I got to see the Astros play very, very well against the Cards. They deserve to be in the Series.
The man in the orange pajamas, Dude. Worthy f*in' adversary.
