Nice catch.
Stupid to batt for Backe with 2 outs and nobody on.
C'mon Jeff.
Feeling very ambivalent about Backe leaving. But he sure did his job tonight
I agree. Should have stayed with Backe.
and there goes Bagwell.
Bag, swinging for the fences again.
Wow, no HRs since April......
More Garner coaching 'brilliance'.
Yeah, should have saved Bags for later with men on base.
That was a useful pinch hit. /sarcasm
Looking more and more like first team to go yard wins.
I think it's about time for Chicago to put this thing to bed.
Howdy DrewsDad, sure hope we win at least one of these games! The cellist playing with Lyle Lovett is a friend of mine, John Hagen. John and I went to UT Austin together back in the 70s, and he liked playing the 6th street gigs a lot more than I did. Somehow Lyle heard him, and they hooked up. It was nice to see John get to play his cello on the field during the series. Pretty cool, good for him!
Go 'Stros!!!!
Regards, Ted
I think we may have seen his last career at-bat. He hardly has the strength to make it out of the infield.
Yeah, it seems to me Backe should stay in the game...
I couldn't agree more, they sure are making me snooze.
IF Bags has a future, it is as an AL DH.
Well Garcia is now out as well. It's down to the bullpens.
Your TV deprived? Gees. I didn't think that happened to anyone anymore.
I said I wasn't going to watch tonight's game but I had to look. No score then eh? I hope they don't pull another all nighter.
Did I miss any really good plays or other interesting moments?
Is he part of Lyle's regular band? I have several of his CDs including, "That's Right, You're not from Texas".
