Yep, Jeb was smart enough to figure that after watching the way they treated Dubya that he wasn't gonna subject hisself to that.
No, siree Bob. No way.
LOL....... I opened a window a bit also. My chow chow is sitting in front of it with his eyes closed, drinking in the breeze!
The eye is passing over West Palm Beach right now.
See if you can bring up the radar view
47 for a low tonight on the heels of a hurricane. Go figure. What's next, a snowstorm? :-)
Experiencing strong strong winds, with the rain.
Our pond is crawling into our back yard.
His terrible swift sword has once again unleashed His fury. I'm afraid it won't be the last time.
Is Pinellas Park near you? I have friends there.
LOL. Awww, I wonder if he was looking for his mom?
Hey, thanks for reminding me about that "first heat of the season" stench.
I just got another car after mine was totaled in an accident, and I'm still getting used to the dashboard. I've already discovered that the rear window defogger is a bit slow in the mornings. Today was the first time that I've had to use the heater instead of the air conditioning; it took me a while to figure out the climate controls.
I'm going to take your advice and switch the controls in my apartment from air conditioning to heat, too. I have to go to a dentist's appointment, and maybe by the time I come back, that nasty smell will disappear.
Thanks again for the tip!
Yes, heaviest gusts so far hitting Palm Bay, winds now out of the North. Still we're far better off than Broward and Palm Beach counties. Hope the Banana Republican still has his roof!
rain heavy in Cocoa..some streets have a foot of water
I was relieved to finally see someone on FOX report in from Ft. Myers saying there was minimal damage. Haven't heard from my sister who lives there yet. Also have a sister-in-law in Kissimmee. I was worried about her last night with all the tornados reported in her area. We never hear from her.
Wow...Checking in from Juno Beach/Jupiter.
I don't want to go through that again anytime soon. Well over 100 mph gusts here - right at me. Thought I was going to lose my fence at one point. Also about 30 tree limbs are piled up against the fence.
In the eye still. Hopefully the reverse winds will blow all the tree limbs back where they came from.
Leave a few windows cracked or it will still stink when you get back. :)
Also, hats off to FPL and Adelphia. We're still in the eye of the storm and I have power and cable. Wow! I was prepared for days. Hopefully I didn't just jinx myself.
Thanks for the update. I'll check back later on.
I couldn't get to sleep last night no matter how hard I tried. I just stayed up straight around the clock until I had to drive my little girl to school. Now I've got a major dental appointment and I know I'm gonna pass out in the chair no matter what he does to me today!
Ciao for now!
Nah, that's forecast for the mountains of the Northeast.
WOW, Vero Beach,
My sister is down there and I can't get no info. She said as of 9 this am still had power. Please let me know anything.
Thanks
Liz
The 11 AM position puts Wilma exiting at Palm Beach Shores.
Pinellas Park is about 15 minutes up the road from where we are.
