You seem to be the only person I have ever heard of who was familiar with Estrich's rape. Could you give details?

In my Evidence textbook, there is a unit on the special rules of evidence for eexual assaults. One of the articles an essay by Susan Estrich's detailing her experience.

I do not have access to it right now; otherwise I'd be able to give you a citation. (I'm ahead on the reading for that class, so I left it in my locker at school for the weekend.) All I have is what I rememeber. She called the cops almost immediately, looked at photo arrays almost immediately. Because she was a "nice" girl who was attacked on the street and didn't "do anything wrong" to invite the attack, she was immediately believed. However, as I recall, the rapist was never found.
