So, why am I not being invited to all the meetings? Why am I being left out? Did I not get the memo? Do I need to fill out some kind of application or something?

We discussed this at the last meeting. We are a little unsure about your ancestory.

I knew this would come out.

Yes, my great-great-grandfather was... French.

But it's not my fault! You can't hold that against me! Just because I have a little frog in my genes shouldn't mean I don't get to play with the retinal scans!

The preceding is what is referred to as a "joke" -- something humorously said or done to evoke laughter or amusement. It is also self-deprecating humor because I do, in fact, have French (Cajun) ancestry. There is also a very subtle double-entendre hidden in there that I, for one, think is particularly funny. If any of the preceding stirs your moral outrage, offends your delicate sensibilites, or otherwise gets your panties in a wad, please see a doctor immediately because it's highly likely that you may have Hedinazz Syndrome. There is no Constitutional right not to be offended, no matter how many libs [or even "trust me, she's a conservative" stealth nominees who may end up being weak-kneed, follow-the-majority moderates] are on the Supreme Court. Life is short, political correctness is stupid, and your mother is a hippie!
