'Hardball' host Chris Matthews discussed the latest in the Plame leak case with MSNBC's Amy Robach on Wednesday morning. Here's an excerpt of what he had to say:

It's going to be unbelievable.
I think the people watching right now who are voters better start paying attention to this issue. It's not just about whether somebody's name was leaked, it's about whether we went to war under false pretenses or not, whether people knew about that or not, and what they did when they were charged against that kind of offense against the United States.
It's serious business.

I have anxiety also. Chris Matthews makes me sick, but that is all this thread is about. I had much better like to hear the reasons he is completely nuts. I have read all of the threads on this issue. Virtually all of the MSM are saying the same thing. That was not the case with Rathergate. It took about 24 hours for ABC and NBC to criticize Rather and CBS. Inately I trust FR serious analysis more than Matthews, but I want the freepers to tell me why what Matthews says is in error.
Russert does the exact same thing.

Someone please clear something up for me. Was Ms. Plame actually an undercover operative or not? I keep hearing she was not and that she wouldn't be covered under the law, but then everyone keeps acting like she was. Which is it?
