Jews to be Permitted to Pray on the Temple Mount Wednesday Morning 04:49 Oct 19, '05 / 16 Tishrei 5766
(IsraelNN.com) A High Court of Justice decision permits Jews to pray on Jerusalems Temple Mount today, Wednesday, between 07:30-09:00. The courts decision was in response to a petition filed by the Temple Mount Faithful organization.
The ruling stipulates they prayers must conclude by 09:00 when Islamic worshipers arrive to prevent a confrontation. The decision is a precedent setting one, permitting the Jews not only to visit the Mount but to pray. Such a position has not been taken by the court since at least 1976.

According to the conditions laid down by the court, police do not have the authority to unilaterally decide to cancel the permit based on security concerns as has generally been the case in previous rulings.
"The decision is a precedent setting one, permitting the Jews not only to visit the Mount but to pray. Such a position has not been taken by the court since at least 1976."
I'll believe it when I see it.
May their prayers be immediately answered.
So, does this mean they will get to pray on the Temple Mount once every thirty years? Or maybe the secular courts are beginning to admit that their stance has been unjustified.
"So, does this mean they will get to pray on the Temple Mount once every thirty years?"
I believe it is every Wednesday.
The top reference is, I think the time and date of the article, coincidentally a particular Wednesday. Note the time difference.
Yeah, the Wednesday mentioned is tommorrow, but it's probably tommorrow in Israel now.
6am in Israel now I think.
7:30-9:00 am
If you build it...
Thank you for the correct times...I'm always an hour or so off when I try to figure that out.
Amen!

Update: Police Did Not Interfere With Temple Mount Prayers
12:41 Oct 19, '05 / 16 Tishrei 5766
(IsraelNN.com) Despite warning off Jews who had come to worship on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem this morning, the police in practice did allow those who insisted on ascending the Mount and praying to do so.
According to some of those present this morning on the Mount, the police did not interfere when two groups of Jews ascended the Mount in succession and read from printed pages of the morning prayers. Those who were allowed to enter could only do so from 7:45 a.m. until 8:15 a.m., however, in contravention of the High Court ruling.
Amen to their prayers.
May this be the first of many opportunities for Jews and Christians to pray at the remannts of the Holy Temple, and may it be rebuilt within our lifetimes.
May the prayers of those who prayed at this wall be answered.

I'd prefer to have the mosque torn down first and the whole are excavated. The remains of the original temples are down there somewhere... Rebuild it on the original foundation!
