Exactly WHO is stereotyping here? YOU are the one who called these kids "the darling offspring of Generation Xers and Yers". Now just who is stereotyping?
I know the difference. You'll have to trust me on that.

Here is what you responded to me: If you and others would look past appearances and actually get to know some of these kids personally, you'd see your preconceived ideas of them are really silly.
At that time, all I had said was that PJs were inappropriate attire for school and she should have been sent home and told not to return until she wore appropriate attire. Period. I didn't make any assumptions about her character based on her appearance, but YOU ASSUMED that I had for whatever reason you had. I don't know the individual and made no judgement about her character as your comment implies, I made a blanket statement about the inappropriateness of wearing PJs to school.
Your response assumes that I had made any sort of reference about her behavior or character based on appearance. I didn't and don't. YOU projected YOUR beliefs upon me.
With respect to my reference to them as the darling offspring of Generation Xers and Yers, I don't know what you read into that but, I'm willing to bet that to their parents, they are darling offspring. That's not a stereotype, that's simply a fact.
