I absolutely HATE rewashing clean clothes that have only gotten dirty because they dusted the floor and not been worn.

My mom, back in my early 60's High School days, had a solution about her kids' laundry. Each of us had a clothes hamper in our rooms. Each of us was responsible for our own laundry, including ironing.

Since we were all dating, we did a pretty good job of keeping our clothing decent-looking.

I can still iron a dress shirt almost as fast as the laundry can. I don't do it much, though, since I rarely wear such a thing.

Let your kids do their own laundry.
